Villa Serena da Luz is nestled in the peaceful area of Vila Serena just a ten-minute walk from the centre of Praia da Luz with its shops, restaurants, bars and of course beautiful beach.
The professionally-cleaned property is ideally suited for family groups. It has a spacious en-suite master bedroom, two twin-bedrooms and a fourth bedroom with a double bed, also en-suite. The master bedroom and one twin bedroom have very small balconies with the second double bedroom having a private terrace with a sea view. The family bathroom serves the two twin-bedded rooms.
There is a bright and spacious lounge with dining area and patio doors on to a covered dining terrace that looks out over the pool that has a small waterfall and also a "jacuzzi" seat. The villa has free multi-lingual television channels and Wi-Fi.
The barbecue uses carcoal for grilling and the open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen also has a dining table with four chairs.
The garden has a slide and two swings; one for a toddler and the other for an older child.
Access to the house is through electric gates with the possibility of parking two cars in the drive way.
There are two water parks within a 30-minute drive of the house and a bus services which runs a return service from Lagos to the water parks and back everyday.
There is also a theme park (Zoomarine) within a 45-minute drive and which also runs a bus service from Lagos. Zoomarine's main attractions include exhibitions by dolphins, seals and sea lions, an aquarium with sharks, 4D cinema, various rides, attractions and swimming pools.
If you are an animal lover, Lagos Zoo is also only a 10- to 15-minute drive away with the monkey islands a great favourite with children.
For keen golfers, there are 40 golf courses in the Algarve, of which over 10 can be found within a 30-minute drive of the apartment. The nearest, Boavista Golf, has 18 holes and is only 3kms away.
Lagos marina is only a few minutes' drive away. From here you can take daily boat trips around the caves, go on dolphin watching trips. It is also possible to go sea kayaking, paddle boarding, deep sea fishing and take part in an array of other water-based activities.
If you are interested in history Lagos is a city steeped in it, with origins dating as far back as 2000 years BC.
We strongly advise you to take out comprehensive travel insurance including cancellation cover, personal belongings and public liability.
No stag/hen parties or similar groups are allowed.
No excessive noise between the hours of 11pm (23h00) and 7am (07h00).

UK: Perfect accommodation, from the pool area, barbecue place, kitchen and the bed rooms, all clean and nice. Great location, quite and just 10 minutes walking distance from the beach, restaurants and supermarkets. And also just 10 minutes by car to see more

PT: Tivemos uma estadia fantástica em Villa Serena. Alojamento perfeito, desde a zona da piscina, churrasqueira, cozinha e quartos de cama, tudo limpo e agradável. Óptima localização, bastante e a apenas 10 minutos a pé da praia, restaurantes e supermercados. E também apenas 10 minutos de carro até Lagos vibrante. Tudo o que precisa para umas férias perfeitas! The villa was a good size and well laid out. The pool was fantastic and bigger than we would have hoped for. Room for two cars behind the electric gates was a bonus and the grounds were well kept and beautiful.

We have just returned from a two week stay in Villa Serena. There were five adults, the villa was very comfortable, plenty of room for sitting inside and outside. Bedrooms are a bright and good size, with comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. see more
We have just returned from a two week stay in Villa Serena. There were five adults, the villa was very comfortable, plenty of room for sitting inside and outside. Bedrooms are a bright and good size, with comfortable beds. Kitchen was well equipped. Lovely upstairs balconies have great views over the pool and you can even see the sea. Outside patio very pleasant for sitting out all day and into the evening, overlooking the pool which is not too big, so was a good temperature so used many times ever day including the jacuzzi on the side. Garden is very private and secure for children. Nice distance from the village, beach is about 15 minute but downhill. Plenty of good restaurants and bars 5 minute drive away. We have stayed in many villas in Luz and would definitely recommend Villa Serena. Excellent service from Algarve Holiday Lets.

Taxi up only 4.70 approx but sometimes taxis are hard to get, can have a taxi in ten minutesit could be an hour and a half. That’s the only negative. Otherwise the villa has everything you could possibly want, best villa I ever stayed in.
